Myakka River Kayak Tour
Myakka River is located inside of Myakka State Park and is one of the oldest wetlands in Florida. Home to some of Sarasota’s most sought after wildlife, the park is extremely popular for it’s hiking, fishing, camping and wildlife observation activities. On this tour, it’s not unusual to see alligators soaking in the sun on the bank of the river or swimming in the waters to keep cool. Other sightings include wild boar, deer, turtles, hawks and a variety of birds.
We encourage you to spend time at the park after your tour, taking advantage of the many attractions and nature watching opportunities offered at the park like air boat rides, canopy walks and nature trails.
